Enterprise architecture (EA) is hot. From media accounts and marketing efforts, it is clear that EA is on nearly everyone's agenda. There are an increasing number of conferences about EA, and more and more job openings for enterprise architects are posted in trade journals and business pages. And increasingly more requests for proposals ask for EA or technology architecture or some combination of "architectures."
