Open source software (OSS) is increasingly important in enterprise IT, and the critical issue driving its adoption is cost reduction. Issues inhibiting the use of OSS include training, support, and documentation. These and other trends in the uptake of OSS are explored in this Executive Report, which presents five conversations on the open source topic.
