We were ramping up on a new engagement, going over the architecture and technology choices the team had made for the project, and it seemed like something wasn't quite right. Michael, my mentor and partner, leaned in and whispered, "Do you think we should open the whole logging thing now, or wait a bit?" We hadn't done an architectural audit for this consultancy before, so we opted for the more political "we can't seem to find the Design for Operations section in the architecture description -- is it somewhere else?"
