Paul Harmon has been very influential in the movement to commercialize object and component technologies for business applications. He recently completed a study of the acceptance of object technology and components in corporate development groups.
Mr. Harmon is the author of the report Who's Profiting from Business Process Redesign and is former editor of Cutter's Component Development Strategies . He has also been the editor of three other Cutter Information Corp. journals over the years: Intelligent Software Strategies (which reported on the development of the AI and expert systems market), Application Development Strategies , and Business Process Strategies .
Mr. Harmon is a frequent speaker on the strategic impact of new software technologies on business. He is the coauthor of several books, including Developing e-Business Systems and Architectures: A Manager's Guide; UML for Visual Basic 6.0 Developers; Understanding UML: A Developer's Guide; and The Object Technology Casebook: Lessons from Award-Winning Business Applications.
