by Alexandre G. Rodrigues

This is the fifth and last Advisor in my series on risk management. The framework I proposed in this series ( 2 August, 30 August, and 6 September) provides an appropriate basis on which risk management can be practiced to support the effective implementation of business-IT alignment decisions. However, there are two critical factors in the risk management process: the use of specialized tools/techniques and organizational/cultural issues. The 4 October Advisor discussed the former; this Advisor focuses on the latter.
