Strategizing IT in a World of New Technologies

Like all corporate strategies, IT strategies are designed to impose control and coordination on the resources -- in this case, those applied to IT. Along the way, pitfalls and challenges range from strategy development to strategy implementation. Other than an out-of-date strategy, there's nothing worse than a lack of strategy. This is equally true for IT strategies as it is for less significant social strategies (such as choosing a restaurant for dinner). But IT strategies can become outdated remarkably easily.
