A Process-Based Approach to Business Cases
Over the past few years, companies have been reluctant, given an uncertain economy and unfulfilled promises, to tackle significant IT investment projects. But with the projected economic recovery, it is likely that companies will resume making significant IT investments. However, unlike the previous wave of investment, this new round requires detailed business cases that will be scrutinized at all company levels, from those at the executive and managerial level to process-level employees. This convergence of circumstances makes it an excellent time to review the business case process to identify possible improvements.
