Everyday MDA

In last week's Advisor (" What Ever Happened to MDA?" 26 October), we discussed the current state of MDA tools and the fundamentals of MDA. We said that the underlying proposition of MDA had to do with the MOF repository, metamodels, and transformations and that the MDA vision was that this would result in a framework for integration of modeling tools. This framework would not only allow generic tools to be used for the repository and transformation, but also allow multiple transformations to occur from a single model.
