SOA: Concepts, Technology, and Design

by Michael Rosen

Of all of the new technology books out this autumn, the one that most piqued my interest was Service Oriented Architecture: Concepts, Technology and Design by Thomas Erl, which I've been planning to review for some time. It has taken me awhile to get through the book for a couple of reasons. At over 750 pages, it's a big book with a lot of material. Although great for reference in the office, it's really too big (over three pounds) to bring on the road and read on an airplane (where I do most of my reading).
