Some Interesting Findings About Business Rules Management Systems

For the past few years, I've covered the use of business rules management systems (BRMS) due to their ability to add automated decision-making capabilities to applications in domains such as personalization, marketing, compliance, fraud, and business process management (BPM), to name a few. Thus I thought I'd share some interesting findings from a Cutter Consortium survey of 119 end-users organizations I conducted in March, which was designed to analyze the use of various data management and analytic technologies, including BRMS.
