How to Talk to Architects, Part I: The Enterprise
About a year ago, I was consulting with a client around the organization's SOA offering and its relationship to enterprise architecture. The client, a software provider, had its chief architect in the meeting, and the architect was trying to convince me of the value of the company's solution. He explained how they could come in with their product and within a week or two have a new, dedicated system for customer tracking up and running. Wouldn't I just die to have this solution so quickly?
