The OMG'S Model Driven Architecture

This edition of CDS is the third in a series reporting component-based development (CBD)-related data gathered by Cutter Consortium (see November and December 2001 issues of CDS for the first two parts in this series). The survey was far-reaching both in terms of content and audience and included the responses from 118 companies from all parts of the world, with North America, Europe, and Asia especially well represented (see Figure 1). The companies range from those earning less than US $1 million to those with revenues in excess of $1 billion (see Figure 2).
