Sad to say, this is the final issue of WSS. Previously published as Object-Oriented Strategies and then as Component Development Strategies, it has tracked the state of the art in software since 1990. The first two editors, Paul Harmon and Paul Allen, did a great job of identifying and explaining the most important aspects of objects and components. In the 31 issues of WSS, I have done my best to follow in their footsteps, but the task has been a daunting one.
