Frameworks and Processes for Developing Enterprise Architectures

After nearly a decade of neglect, large organizations are suddenly becoming interested once again in modeling the enterprise at the highest level. This "revival" is most commonly referred to as enterprise architecture (EA). This Executive Report will discuss a number of frameworks and processes that are becoming common in this area. It is largely based on the work that we at the Ken Orr Institute have done with clients over the past six years.
