Open source software will remain high on nearly every CIO's agenda for at least the next few years, primarily due to its money-saving potential. "Any CIO without an open source strategy in 2003 will be paying too much for IT in 2004," writes Christopher Koch in the 15 March 2003 issue of CIO.
