Implementing an SOA with Common Technologies

Achieving agile real-time business processes is a goal of many enterprises. To obtain this, the enterprise must combine flexible business processes and services with the ability to collect and correlate data from multiple sources. Pulling this off requires two important components: (1) the technical infrastructure that enables processes to communicate and be combined, and (2) business processes that are designed to be combined and utilize shared information. In other words, you need a business-driven service-oriented architectural approach to application development.
