EA, The "Logical" Way

Enterprise architecture (EA) programs are struggling to prove their value and find their place in mainstream organizations. While IT leaders support the idea of a common architecture, they want more relevant application than what today's methods are providing. Current views of EA are out of date and out of step with today's realities, so it's time for architects to move beyond their focus on technology, frameworks, and models to create stakeholder-driven architectures that deliver short-term value while positioning the IT organization to be more effective in the future. Doing this requires new focus, new skills, and a new approach. The "logical architecture" provides that approach, offering eight methods for creating more effective and powerful EA programs.
