Ask the Experts: Distributed Computing Architecture (Part II)

by Douglas K. Barry, J. Bradford Kain, Jason Matthews, Imran Sayeed, Paul Harmon, Ed Yourdon

This Executive Update is the second in a two-part series containing excerpts from a panel discussion on distributed computing architecture. The discussion followed a presentation on distributed computing architecture and took place at Summit '99, Cutter Consortium's annual conference for IT professionals, which was held in April in Boston. The panel, which took questions from the audience, was made up of Cutter Consortium Senior Consultants Doug Barry, Brad Kain, Jason Matthews, and Imran Sayeed, with Paul Harmon serving as moderator. Ed Yourdon, chairman of Cutter Consortium, also jumps in with an occasional comment.
