Are Companies Using Web Services?

This Executive Update reports on recent trends using data collected from a recent Cutter survey. The results will be reported in a series of Updates. Overall, we had 235 responses from IT and business managers worldwide. Of that total, 34% were companies engaged in the production and sale of software. In many cases, including the comments that follow, we filtered out the responses of the software companies, since they tend to shift the results in favor of the latest software techniques. Instead, we focused on the 154 non-software companies among our respondents.
