The concept of enterprise architecture (EA) is not new, yet harnessing the power of EA is still not easy today. In fact, for many business and IT practitioners, it is still challenging to recognize the significance of roles and responsibilities as well as the ownership of various relevant activities -- not to mention the shift in the onus of successfully integrating business-driven enterprise architecture. However, I strongly believe that the EA practice can encompass the collaboration, coordination, communication, and commitment between business and IT organizations in delivering effective EA.
