Parts I and II (Vol. 9, No. 22) presented to you a practitioner's point of view toward running an EA practice like a business: Part I contained the seven principles to building the foundation of your practice using a holistic approach; Part II focused on establishing the practice as a business entity, starting with a focus on various activities involved in different phases of the EA initiative lifecycle. Here in Part III, I would like to first take a step back and formalize a roadmap that can help practitioners manage and support the blueprints of the EA initiative lifecycle in a business-oriented way. Next, I will elaborate on the activities involved in various focus areas of the EA practice that most business and IT teams can execute while dealing with their EA initiatives.
