SOA, BPM, MDM: Notes from the River Walk

Some interesting directions were visible during the SOA Consortium meeting, in September 2009, in San Antonio, Texas, USA, collocated as usual with the technical meetings of its parent organization, the Object Management Group (OMG). Near that city's River Walk, there were a number of good experience-based presentations, some forgettable ones, and signs that there may be a turning point in the understanding of the relationship between business and IT, based on the role of business process management (BPM).
