Personalization comprises the selective delivery of content and services (Web-based content, specific product offerings, advertising, promotions, e-mail, etc.) to customers and prospective customers. In short, personalization is the ability to monitor and respond to customers in an individualized fashion based on their current and past contacts and behavior.
