This Executive Report deals with a comprehensive cost methodology for implementing business intelligence (BI) and business performance management (BPM) projects. While these projects share many similarities with other IT project implementations, they also have differences that require careful and detailed up-front preparation and ongoing monitoring. Failure to account or plan for these differences will lead to cost overruns, unpredictable results, or -- worse -- total failure.
