The computer revolution, a revolution that has changed the shape and substance of modern society, is more than 50 years old. The world has become more efficient, more dynamic, more global, and much, much faster. Organizations and individuals have become used to continuous change: new products, new features, new networks. This Executive Report explores what you might call the "smart revolution" -- a period like that of the ancient Greeks, when every rock, every tree, and every waterfall had its own spirit.
