Supply chain intelligence (SCI) is the practice of applying data warehousing and business intelligence (BI) to a company's supply chain operations. As a functional discipline of supply chain management, SCI is intended to optimize an organization's ability to produce and market cost-effective products by applying BI to its supply, operations, logistics, demand, customer support, and supplier-support processes.
