The State of Open Source Workflow

Workflow systems completely or partially computer-automate business processes. In the accompanying Executive Report, we provide a history of workflow, showing how open source (OS) workflow evolved from the first commercial systems to its present state. We examine the components of OS workflow before evaluating the potential market and how OS workflow fits in. We close by profiling several examples of current OS workflow products.
