Open Source Workflow

As with other open source (OS) technologies, OS workflow is generally viewed as "workflow lite." This is not to say that OS workflow offerings necessarily lack robustness or a panoply of functionality; rather, it means they usually do a few specific things very well. For instance, one may automatically process purchase orders submitted by an OEM to a supplier for a certain component needed in a manufacturing plant.
