Software-as-a-service (SaaS) is making a significant impact on corporate computing -- including the application of BI and data warehousing. Today, the number and variety of on-demand BI offerings continue to grow, ranging from reporting, dashboards, and focused analytic applications (offered as licensable services) to hosted data integration services and managed data warehouses.

In August/September 2007, Cutter Consortium conducted a survey of 119 end-user organizations worldwide designed to measure the use of various SaaS/on-demand BI and data warehousing solutions.
