Transformation Entropy and Why Business Professionals Should Care

According to the law of conservation of mass (aka the first law of thermodynamics), "Nothing is lost, nothing is created, everything is transformed." The dynamics of such transformation and change, however, are complex and unique and must be studied carefully to be understood. To be able to leverage the principles of transformation and learn how to apply them in the context of social and information systems, social sciences looks at physics, aiming to capture insights into the natural laws that may drive change.
