Introduction

Project management has been such a long-standing part of the software industry that it's difficult to imagine anything new could be said. But if that were the case, there would have been no reason to devote this month's issue of American Programmer to the topic; so we set out to discover what's new and different. The results, I'm pleased to say, are quite interesting.
