The New CIO Agenda: Opening Statement

by Mark P. McDonald

It is time for a new CIO agenda. CIOs and their teams have checked off many of the old agenda items: Y2K, the Internet, and enterprise-level systems. Our authors for this issue have approached the idea of the new CIO agenda from several different perspectives, demonstrating the richness and potential awaiting today's senior technology leaders.
