In a previous Advisor (" Everything I Learned About Project Tracking I Learned from My VP of Marketing," 23 October 2002), I discussed some similarities between how the marketing/sales division plans and manages its work and how we need to manage our IT projects. Well, planning and tracking similarities were a good reinforcement, but I have found that there is also another marketing concept we can apply.
