E.B. White, the author of the children's book *Charlotte's Web* said, "I wake up each morning determined to change the world and also to have one hell of a good time. Sometimes that makes planning the day a little difficult." This quote reminds me of the agile software development teams I've coached over the years. Some of these teams had aspirations that their software would change the world, most wanted to have a good time while doing it, and all expended a great deal of effort in planning.
