Feature-Driven Development

FDD, or feature-driven development, is one of the frequently referred to, but somewhat lesser known, Agile methodologies. Described in Java Modeling in Color with UML: Enterprise Components and Process , by Peter Coad, Jeff De Luca, and Eric Lefebvre (http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/ASIN/013011510X/cutterinformatco), FDD is a streamlined, modeling-based, feature-driven, iterative approach to development that also draws on traditional software development practices such as chief programmer teams and inspections.
