Earlier this year I began a discussion on the principles of agile project management ([APM]; see "The Principles of Agile Project Management," Parts 1, 2, and 3 (18 March 2004, 13 May 2004, and 14 October 2004). As I said in the first of these Advisors, while some practices are characteristic of a particular methodology style, practices per se don't define a style, principles do.
