Beyond Iteration Planning: Steps to Start the Journey

It has become popular to enter the agile world using a shortcut: you send a few of your more-promising young managers to a two-day course where they learn about how to manage an agile team and how to plan an agile iteration. When they come back from the course, at least one or two of them may be able to plan an iteration and run a team, and you can claim that your organization uses agile techniques.
