Learning and E-Projects

by Lou Russell

In this Executive Report, I will share with you some background and strategy for dealing with the complexity of human learning. Learning is the critical competency for e-project management, where no two projects are ever the same (but were they ever in IT?). The complexity of requirements, the time constraints of an impatient market, and the challenge of finding good people with the latest and greatest skills makes learning an imperative, but ironically, it also makes it almost impossible to have the time to learn. The other challenge of this topic is that you must choose to learn about how you learn before you are able to help your people learn. You must first make the choice.
