Getting Started with Software Productivity Benchmarking

by Khaled El Emam

Benchmarking is the process of comparing your own software projects with projects in other companies in the same industry. This Executive Report explains what benchmarking is, how to benchmark successfully, and the benefits of benchmarking; it then presents a number of case studies to illustrate how benchmarking works.
