About five years ago, Extreme Programming (XP) emerged as an alternative software development methodology. Since that time, XP has had significant impact on the culture and practices of the software industry, with most XP teams having success stories. The accompanying Executive Report examines those XP practices that are most important for an organization to adopt. The report also discusses four case studies of teams and practitioners who have used at least one XP practice.
