Software Practices and Project Success

Many factors affect project success. For example, there is plenty of evidence in software engineering that the capability of key technical and management staff strongly influences success. In this Executive Update, we will focus on specific practices to determine whether they are related to project success. Analysis is based on a recent Cutter Consortium survey of approximately 200 projects (see "Methodological Notes").
