The Agile IT Organization: Diffusion into the IT-Savvy Business

Why do we need agile IT? Because business goals change quickly, more than anyone would imagine; because of rapidly evolving new technologies we need to exploit; because IT capability is diffusing outward toward the business; and because the client community is getting more "IT savvy" all the time. Our dilemma: the more diffusion, the less we can control risks and outcomes with traditional means.
