In Part I of this three-part Executive Update series, I examined the notion of project volatility and set forth the assumptions that underlie my own project planning approach. 1 In Part II, I delved more deeply into the definition of project volatility and suggested the use of two project-volatility metrics, V1 and V2 , to describe two different aspects of volatility. 2 In this third and final Update of the series, I expand on the V2 metric.
