Dodging Bullets -- So Far
For the United States, the worst of the winter 2003 cold season seems to be behind us. The flu now seems to be past its peak infection period, with the latest CDC data showing that the greatest number of infections happened over the Christmas to New Years holidays. Flu infections are now petering out across the country, with at least one state not reporting any flu infections at all during the last week of January.
