If you took a quick "health check" of the communication in your current outsourcing relationship, what would you find? How often are your e-mails, phone messages, requirements requests, and change requests misunderstood and require clarification? If the answer is anything other than "very infrequently," you probably need to work on improved communication between yourself and your outsourcing partner.
