Harness the Power of IT Governance

by Tushar K. Hazra

In order to utilize the power of IT governance effectively, we must build a corporate or organizational culture that can enable us to expand from "doing right things" strategic principles to a "doing things right" mode of business operations. This means reevaluating our sourcing strategies in the light of a global delivery model that recognizes the existence of a global workforce and its flexibility across the board. A global delivery model establishes the right context for the people, process, and technology elements in sourcing. Service providers and solution partners must work closely to define the rules of engagements and practice the principles to uphold the objectives founded by the governance board or the committee of the sourcing company.
