The Sourcing Market in Latin America

Latin American outsourcing is developing rapidly, fueled by a nearly insatiable US demand for low-cost, Spanish-language call centers and localization, as well as by the region's advancing infrastructure, educated workforce, geographical proximity, and lower cost structures. Although the region is far from being able to compete with the likes of India in the IT sector, there are significant reasons why Latin America may provide the next great area of offshore sourcing growth. In itself it represents a vast market, and its special relationships with the US -- factors of location, trade, and Spanish-language capabilities -- are becoming important drivers.
