Sourcing has hit the mainstream. IT organizations can now source almost every facet of their operations, including mission-critical activities once deemed too sensitive to transfer. Today, multiple vendors often participate in sourcing arrangements, business users and sourcing teams are increasingly dispersed, and sourcing activities are taking place around the globe. All these factors make it more challenging than ever to manage sourcing arrangements.
