ICT Outsourcing Survey: Goals and Outcomes
This Executive Update is the eighth in a series1 regarding a recent Cutter Consortium global survey on information and communications technology (ICT) outsourcing.2 The first seven parts examined the key structures, or configuration, of outsourcing deals and which are the most common. This Update looks at the goals and outcomes organizations have achieved, and explores which of the different configuration attributes (i.e., fixed price versus cost-based pricing) yielded more success.
