How Models, Prototypes Can Set You Free, Part 1
For the most part, I've found that the trick in working with people is not to dazzle them with formal modeling, but to use models -- especially visual models and prototypes -- to help define problems that are not easy to put into words. In the right circumstances, visual models and prototypes can improve communication dramatically. The more real the models are, the better most people can relate to them.
